Corrin wasn't
willing to lose SLCC...

Corrin and kids

We want to share a story that has touched our hearts. Corrin is a single mother to four children, all under the age of 13. Strained finances, lack of child support, and a struggle to rebound from the pandemic have forced her to cut back on opportunities for all the kids this year. But The St. Louis Children’s Choirs was one part of her family’s life she wasn’t willing to lose. She shares, “I believe that the experience with Choir has helped my girls’ confidence, as well as develop their talent. They come home from Choir excited, singing around the house. It has been a blessing to watch their love and appreciation for music grow.” Corrin’s roots with the Choirs run deep. “I am also an alumna of SLCC. The lessons that I learned I pass onto my children. I appreciate any help your organization can give.”

"I believe that the experience with Choir has helped my girls’ confidence, as well as develop their talent."

What lasting lessons do our singers learn? Our extraordinary young artists grow into fine musicians, and more importantly, they become outstanding examples of discipline, kindness, responsibility, and determination. They are accountable – not only to their director, but to each other. Because of donors like you, tuition rates remain affordable for all students and financial aid is an option for any family in need. This season, we have awarded more scholarship funds to more students than ever before. Corrin’s dear family is just one of the many families whose lives are enriched by our generous supporters.

Corrin's daughter

We always say, “Every voice matters.” Right now, we would love to hear yours. You have the power to change the lives of children from a family like Corrin’s. Will you please consider making a donation during this season of giving? Please know that your gift, in any amount, will make a difference.

 "Every voice matters."

Thank you for expressing your love of young people with your support. Your stewardship of our work inspires us every day. Thank you. We wish you and your family a beautiful holiday season together full of warmth and joyful music.

Sincerely,
